The trial between Elon Musk and the social media company, Twitter, put light on many details about Elon. It’s not like it was unknown who supported the Tesla and SpaceX CEO previously, but now they are put in the direct limelight for their support, as personal text messages between the billionaire and Joe Rogan, Gayle King, and Joe Lonsdale surfaced.
It is not strange at all that Joe Rogan supports Elon Musk. The billionaire paid visits to Joe Rogan on his podcast several times. Every time the duo spoke about various topics including the future of the Earth, the future of civilization, EVs, and of course censorship on social media. However, every time Elon Musk, or Joe Rogan would bring censorship and social media as a topic, they seemed to agree on each point. It is no wonder that Joe Rogan was ‘stoked’ when he found out the ‘great news’ that Elon is taking over Twitter. He even suggested throwing a big party about it.
The trial between Elon Musk and the social media company, Twitter.
“I REALLY hope you get Twitter.” – Joe Rogan’s text to the billionaire on March 23. “If you do, we should throw a hell of a party.”
The podcast host continued to ask if Elon has a plan for ‘liberating’ the social media from the censorship-happy mob to which Elon replied in his manner. “I will provide advice, which they may or may not choose to follow.”
Gayle King is the co-host of CBS mornings, and apparently – a big Elon Musk supporter. Elon Musk is a personality that is not prone to talking to journalists. Yet, somehow he seems to talk to Gayle.
“ELON! You buying twitter or offering to buy twitter Wow!” – the CBS mornings co-host told Musk. “Now don’t you think we should sit down together face to face this is as the kids of today say a ‘gangsta move.’”
One thing is sure – the kids are not saying that this is a ‘gangsta move’. Especially not now when the deal collapsed and the two countering sides are in the middle of a lawsuit. However, the fact that Elon Musk is talking to a few journalists only is pretty interesting. He replied to her shortly after – noting that Oprah Winfrey should join the Twitter board.
“Maybe Oprah would take interest in joining the Twitter board if my bid succeeds. Wisdom about humanity and knowing what is right are more important than so-called “board governance” skills. Which means pretty much nothing in my experience.” – Musk replied.
After all of this, we ought to ask, what are their thoughts on Twitter now? Are they still siding with Elon Musk and support his claims for the spam bots?
