British royal family news has revealed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be forced to cancel their upcoming vacation to see the Queen. The couple were expected to travel to England to visit the Queen at Balmoral to give the older members of the royal family an opportunity to see their great grandson.
However, that would now seem incredibly unlikely to happen, as the British government’s health official Matt Hancock has revealed that it will be ‘unlikely’ that people will be able to travel over the summer. The date that Meghan and Prince Harry were going to visit was never disclosed, but it would have likely come over the period that Hancock mentioned.

As well as that comment from Hancock, it was also revealed that visitors flying into the country could be held for two weeks in isolation so that the virus is unable to spread again. The British government are fearful over a second wave of cases, after they have eased the lockdown measures by allowing some people to go back to work this week.
Meghan and Harry’s hopes of visiting the UK would seem to be over following the latest comments, as they would likely prefer to wait a few more months to make their visit when the regulations aren’t as tight. The news would also come as a blow for the Queen and Prince Philip as they would have no doubt been looking forward to seeing baby Archie for the first time in a number of months.
British Royal Family News: Queen Could Be In Lockdown For Months
The chances of Harry and Meghan seeing the Queen should they make the trip would also appear low after it was revealed late last week that the Queen may be kept in self-isolation until the threat of coronavirus is removed. That could mean that the Queen will not be able to see other family members, and will also be unable to attend commitments.
Reports have revealed that the Queen is looking to get back to work as soon as possible. But, in the meantime, she has called upon other members of the royal family to pull their weight during this period of uncertainty.
