ITV ‘Coronation Street’ spoilers have given the biggest indicator yet that Sophie Webster could return to the cobbles. It has been teased the Corrie legend could be set to return to help her mother during a difficult period in her relationship with Tim Metcalfe. Viewers will remember that Tim’s father Geoff has recently been stabbed by Yasmeen Nazir after she finally reached breaking point.
Tim is adamant that his father has done nothing wrong, while Sally is beginning to question whether they really knew what was happening behind closed doors. Viewers will be aware that Geoff is the villain in this storyline, as he has been controlling Yasmeen for over a year. He has all her financial details, and has even been included as an owner of Yasmeen and Alya’s restaurant.

Fans have watched on for the past week, as they have seen Sally begin to question whether or not Geoff is really telling the truth. Alya burst into the hospital to confront Geoff last week, before she then begged Sally to think back at what she really saw between the couple. Sally only lives next door to Yasmeen and Geoff, and has previously seen Yasmeen crying as she fed the chickens.
She also came out of the house a few weeks ago when she could smell Geoff burning Yasmeen’s clothes. But, could she be about to go against her husband and really believe that his father has been controlling Yasmeen for a year? The spoilers have revealed that she could get some emotional support throughout this period, as Sophie finally makes her return after learning of the news.

It would be a welcome sight for viewers, as they haven’t seen Sophie for a number of months now. She left Weatherfield late last year after revealing that she wanted to go travelling. Sophie believed that she was going to go away with Paula Martin, but she broke up with Sally’s daughter as she was about to leave as she admitted that this is something that she will have to do by herself.
The actress that plays Sophie, Brooke Vincent has been off Corrie since she was on maternity leave. However, she has recently revealed on social media that she could be returning to the soap very soon. She could play an important role in helping Tim and Sally’s relationship survive.
