One aspect that players often don’t understand why they begin playing Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee is the importance of the catch combo. The importance of keeping this catch combo going is hugely important, as it improves the chances of rare Pokemon appearing, not only that but you could also encounter a shiny Pokemon.

Building the dream team on Pokemon: Let’s Go is much simpler by catching more of the same Pokemon. This will also help your team get stronger with extra exp points, and also increase your chances of coming across a rare Pokemon while you walk around. But, where are the best places that you can go to keep the catch combo going?

‘Pokemon: Let’s Go’ – Viridian Forest

Very early on in the game will you find the first hotspot for building up your catch combos. There are tons of Metapie, Metapods, Weedles and Kakunas in the Viridian Forest. You can use this location as the perfect place to perfect catching Pokemon too before encountering stronger Pokemon later on in the game. As we mentioned, rarer Pokemon appear when you improve the catch combo, and should you do that here then you could encounter a Bulbasaur.

‘Pokemon: Let’s Go’ – Victory Road

At the opposite end of the spectrum, you will find Victory Road is a perfect place to increase your catch combo. The Pokemon here are much stronger while means that there is an excellent chance to get more exp points for your hard efforts. There are Pokemon such as Golbat and Onix to be found in this location, and should you accumulate the desired combo then you could encounter two rare types of Pokemon. Both of the Pokemon can be found on the game already, but it is the perfect chance to get the other one, as both Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan appear in Victory Road.

‘Pokemon: Let’s Go’ – Cerulean Cave

Once you have become Pokemon Champion, then one of the only things left to do is catch all the Pokemon in the game. One of the places you can head to is the Cerulean Cave. There are many strong Pokemon in the cave, and none more so than Mewtwo. Putting together a catch combo in here could be hugely lucrative, and will also see players rewarded with a rare Snorlax, which is stronger than any of the others that you can encounter on the game.
