Lifetime Married At First Sight Spoilers:Â Where Will She Have Her Baby?
Jamie wanted to have her baby in a hospital, but now that the hospitals are filled with COVID-19 patients, it is difficult to say where she should give birth. She is very worried about contracting the virus and her baby getting it as well. She posted on Instagram just a few days ago. Her post was a picture of her belly and it said, “33 weeks almost full term! Aaaand our birth plan is up in the air. It took us 18 months of ttc, 2 losses, and a whole lotta prayer to get this guy-we don’t want to risk losing him.
Lifetime Married At First Sight Spoilers: Jamie’s Concerns About Giving Birth!
My gut’s telling me that delivering in the hospital right now is not a good idea. I’ve been up night after night researching our options and weighing our pros and cons. I reached out to birthing centers and just today talked to a midwife who spent her 20+ year career delivering babies right at home. If you asked me 2 weeks ago whether or not I’d consider a home delivery the answer would 100% be “No!” I’m a labor and delivery nurse and I’ve seen far too many complications happen last minute. BUT…. If I contract COVID-19 I would have to be kept away from my baby for 2 weeks to prevent him from catching it… just the thought of that brings me to tears. I couldn’t even imagine being separated. I’m so thankful we have time. My heart goes out to the mamas who are due now and can’t research. I’m thinking of you.”
Fans of Married at First Sight really love how transparent Jamie has been through all of this. We do hope that she can work closely with her midwife and the baby will be born safe and healthy. It is a crazy time that we are living in and we all have to remain safe and healthy during this time. Our thoughts are with Jamie and her family during this time.
