ITV ‘Coronation Street’ spoilers have revealed that Alya Nazir is set to return to Weatherfield this evening, as she looks to save her grandmother from prison time. Alya was away from Weatherfield for a couple of weeks after attending Zidan’s birthday in Spain. Yasmeen was also invited, but was prevented from going after Geoff Metcalfe faked a heart attack and forced her to stay.
That could have been the final opportunity for Yasmeen to escape, as just over a week later she was forced to stab her husband in self-defence after he appeared set to stab her with a knife. Yasmeen panicked and picked up a bottle and smashed him over the head before then stabbing him in the throat. She admitted to killing her husband, which has meant that she has spent the last couple of nights in a cell.
ITV ‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Alya Can See Through Geoff
The dramatic scenes from last week look set to continue tonight as Alya returns hell-bent on trying to bring Geoff to justice. She is aware that he has been controlling her grandmother from behind the scenes, and also admitted that she believed that he was faking health problems, which he was. She will arrive in Weatherfield as the police are examining the crime scene.
Viewers will be hopeful that they may finally find the hidden video cameras that have been used by Geoff to keep an eye on Yasmeen for the best part of a year. Alya will head straight to the police station to tray and find out the latest regarding her grandmother. She will plead with the police that they have made a mistake, and that Geoff has been abusing her for months. But, will they listen to her?
ITV ‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Nina Punches A Teenager
Also tonight, Asha Alahan will be encouraged to leave the house by Dev as he reveals that the fresh air will be good for her. However, unbeknown to the show owner, there is a group of teenagers on the corner ready to make fun of Asha after seeing her nude picture online. One character that is determined to stand up for Asha is Nina.
She takes offence to the boys making fun of Asha, and encourages them to say something about her. One of the boys does, although he would have quickly wished he hadn’t as Nina breaks his nose by punching him in the face. The thought of Nina standing up for Asha is applauded by Dev, but could she be about to find herself in deep trouble of her own?
