ITV ‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers finds that fans have been engaged with the ongoing storyline between Evelyn Plummer and Arthur Medwin. The two pensioners have recently reconnected after bumping into each other in the vets a couple of months ago. Fans were quickly stunned to see Evelyn in a different light, as she was no longer cold hearted when she was around him.
Instead, she would become flustered and nervous when she would be around him. Fans have been convinced for a number of weeks that there could be a secret revelation on the horizon, with social media users predicting that it could be revealed that Arthur is really Tyrone Dobbs’ grandfather. But, could we learn more over the coming weeks?

There is clearly some history between Evelyn and Arthur, as they have alluded to it over the past couple of weeks that they used to date in the past. But, we know very little about Arthur at this stage, and how they were never able to stay together. This week, we saw Evelyn and Arthur having breakfast together, which led Tyrone and Fizz to believe that he had spent the night.
Evelyn was immediately on the defensive and stated that he had just come round for breakfast before going to the doctors. However, Tyrone and Fizz both stated that it was okay for him to stay as they were aware that she had needs of her own. Evelyn gave her trademark little smile to show she was happy with their response, before clarifying that nothing had happened.

Fans certainly believe that there is more to this story than meets the eye, and it certainly wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility. Arthur admitted in previous scenes that he was ready to marry Evelyn before being moved abroad for work. He also admitted he was heartbroken to see that she had moved on.
Fans believed that she moved on because she was pregnant while they were together, and needed a new man in her life to act as a role model for her daughter. But, could the fan theory really be true? Viewers will have to continue watching the soap over the next couple of weeks to find out.
