Decision Day on Married at First Sight is not an easy day for the couples. They have spent eight weeks trying to determine if their spouse is the one that they will go home with or if they will leave all alone. Michael is very nervous about the relationship that he and Meka are in. She has found him in a lot of lies and things don’t look good. She has tried over and over again to give him the benefit of the doubt, but will she be able to finally forgive him?

He spoke out about their relationship to the advisors on the show, “I think for me, what I realized…you as an individual person have habits that are not necessarily things you can carry on into a marriage. The mistakes I made several times was that the habits I had as an individual, that were comfortable for me, were not going to work being in this marriage. And so, that was my default.”
Meka did share her thoughts on Michael’s behavior and blames a lot of it on his childhood. “I think Michael has a huge variety of issues that he never worked through. Not only did his issues exist, but he was always enabled and never really held accountable for his actions. I think people felt so bad about his adoption that they’d constantly give him passes to be dishonest. Since he had never truly been called out on his bad behavior, he assumed I was against him or had a hidden agenda. In reality, I had never been in the situation and I was responding the best way I knew how in the moment.”
