ITV ‘Coronation Street’ spoilers have indicated that there could be a blow for Gary Windass over coming scenes as he looks to distance himself from Rick Neelan. Long time viewers of the ITV soap will remember that it has been over 12 months since Gary killed Rick, and since then he has been doing everything he can to cover it up.
He has been working hard to hide his secret, while at the same time trying to plan a wedding with Maria Connor. However, his chances of getting away with the crime were rocked a number of weeks ago when Kelly Neelan arrived in Weatherfield.
ITV ‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Laura Blackmails Gary
Kelly’s arrival stunned Gary as he believed that he had covered his tracks by continuing to pay her school fees. However, he later found out through Kelly that the school was being paid, which led to Gary searching for Laura. Laura revealed that she had been using the money on other stuff, before she later left the area without Kelly to avoid Gary seeing her again.
Gary has continued to keep an eye out for Kelly, but that is as much to do with keeping his secret hidden as it is to look out for her. It didn’t take long for Adam Barlow to realise something strange was going on and he has been trying to find out more information from Laura by flirting with her. However, recent spoilers have indicated that Laura could have a plan of her own.
ITV ‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Laura Pays Gary A Visit
Gary’s plan seemed to be working for the most part as he was threatening to tell Rick the truth about where the money had been going when he was talking to Laura. However, this is set to backfire as Laura reveals that she needs more money and isn’t prepared to wait for Rick to send it over to her.
She then goes on to blackmail Gary by revealing that if she doesn’t receive the money that she wants, then she will go straight to the police and reveal to them that Gary is talking to Rick. Gary will panic, but with his back against the wall, will he have another plan to get himself out of this tight corner?
