‘Coronation Street’ spoilers have revealed that Sally Metcalfe and Tim Metcalfe are set to clash again in coming scenes as Sally reveals what she is doing with the money that Geoff gave the couple for their wedding. Geoff gave Tim and Sally the money without them realising that Yasmeen had not signed off on the proposal.
It was yet another plan by Geoff to control Yasmeen, as he handed over a huge amount of his money to cover their wedding. Tim and Sally were touched by the sentiment, but Sally immediately began to question whether there was more to it. She has since realised that Yasmeen had no knowledge that Geoff had offered his wife’s money.
‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Sally Turns Against Geoff
Sally has been turning against Geoff with every passing week, and he was stunned on Monday when it was revealed that his son’s wife will be testifying on behalf of Yasmeen at the trial. It would appear as though there is no changing Sally’s mind now as she is firmly in Yasmeen’s corner after seeing Geoff for who he really is.
Sally will be keen to make amends with Yasmeen and her family, and she will believe that the best way to do that is by giving back the money that Geoff had promised for the wedding. But, the decision isn’t likely to go down well with Tim, who is firmly still blindsided from the controlling behaviour of his father.
‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: More Strain On Sally’s Marriage
Sally will be keen to help in any way possible, and will tell Alya Nazir that she can have the money to help Yasmeen’s case. Tim will be left furious by his wife’s decision and question whether there is any chance that they will be able to get through this testing time. Sally is clearly aggravated that Tim can’t see Geoff for who he really is.
Yasmeen’s confidence will continue to build this week as she stands up against Geoff. She was also visited by Geoff’s ex-wife this week, and the two are likely to continue to talk more over the coming weeks. However, Yasmeen will have a setback this week as she suffers a heart attack just days before her trial is set to get underway.
