‘Coronation Street’ spoilers have indicated that there could be grave danger ahead for newcomer Elaine Jones. The spoilers come after Yasmeen Nazir was visited by a mysterious woman in prison this week who admitted that she knows exactly what living with Geoff is like. Elaine admitted to Yasmeen that she was Geoff’s ex-wife and that he treated her the exact same way as she has been treated.
Yasmeen refused to believe Elaine at first, as she remembered that Geoff told her that he was abused by his ex. However, as Elaine went into greater detail about what he was doing behind closed doors, Yasmeen started to believe the woman. The final straw was Elaine revealing that he used to fake medical conditions in order to get sympathy from her.

Elaine also revealed that Geoff used to put crosses around the house to ensure that she was cleaning the house when he wasn’t home. That was exactly the same as what Geoff was doing to her. Yasmeen decided to question why she decided to leave, and Elaine revealed that she feared that she would end up dead. She also teased that she had a lot to lose by leaving but admitted that she had no choice.
Of course, viewers will be able to put together the clues there, as Elaine was referring to losing her son as Tim Metcalfe is hers. Tim hasn’t seen his mother for years after Geoff forced him into believing that she turned her back on them. However, it would seem only a matter of time now before she finally makes contact with Tim and decides to tell him what really happened.

Viewers were delighted on Wednesday when Yasmeen finally told Geoff that there was no chance that they would be getting back together. Geoff was stunned and demanded to know who she had been speaking to. Yasmeen refused to give the name, but it would appear that Geoff knows exactly who the mysterious woman is, and next week he will issue a chilling threat that will stun Elaine to her core.
Elaine will be stunned to hear Geoff’s voice after all this time, but will persistently admit that she is still going to take the stand against Geoff when Yasmeen’s trial starts. However, Geoff, who has already lost everything, may take matters into his own hands to ensure that Elaine doesn’t allow Yasmeen to run free.
