ITV ‘Coronation Street’ spoilers have indicated that the tension that Gary Windass is feeling is set to be ramped up further over future scenes. It has been a disastrous week for Gary in Weatherfield, as his secret is on the verge of being revealed after Bernie Winter found Rick Neelan’s watch while she was looking for Roman coins in the woods.
The watch was one of the biggest ongoing stories in last night’s episode of the soap, as viewers were left hooked waiting to see who would buy it. There was a shock at the end of the episode, as Bernie revealed to Gary that Sarah Platt had brought the watch off her.
ITV ‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Bernie Reveals Secret Watch
Bernie found the watch in Friday’s episode, which featured an inscription of Rick Neelan and Laura Neelan’s names. There was shock amongst fans, as it looked as though Gary was about to get his comeuppance twelve months after killing the loan shark. However, Bernie was oblivious to the importance of the watch and was instead keen to make some money off it.
She tried to sell the watch to everybody around Weatherfield, but Sarah had more of an interest after finding out that Rick’s name was on the watch. She was only earlier warned by Adam Barlow that he is convinced that Gary killed Rick and that he was trying to get closer to Laura to find out how he has been covering his tracks. But, spoilers have indicated that Sarah will be conflicted over what to do next.
ITV ‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Carla Reveals Huge News
Gary will save Sarah’s life in scenes that will air this week, as he stops her from getting hit by a car and takes the impact himself. He will be working hard to try and make sure Sarah doesn’t reveal his secret over coming scenes, which will lead to Maria thinking that something is still going on between the ex-couple.
Her fears will be realised later in the week when Carla reveals that Gary has made a massive decision to not raise the price of rent at the factory. Maria will immediately believe that is down to his feelings for Sarah and will question him about it. However, Gary will be able to squirm out of the situation as he tells Maria that he has had second thoughts because of the pressure that Nick Tilsely is under with Oliver Battersby’s illness.
