The quality that has been produced in Spain over the past 20 years has left other nations trailing in the dust. While the Spaniards may have endured a difficult World Cup in 2018, much of that was down to the aspects off the pitch rather than the quality that they had on it. To this day, there is so much talent that can be found when examining players born in Spain, and that is evident on FIFA 20.
Of course, many of these players will not come on the cheap side as they are among the highest-rated players on the game. But, they will add so much to your team regardless of whether you’re playing on Ultimate Team or Career Mode. Here are the best players in each position on FIFA 20.
Goalkeeper: David De Gea
Club: Manchester United
Say what you like about the drop in David De Gea’s form, but he is still one of the very best goalkeepers in the world. The Manchester United goalkeeper has been the overriding reason why United have been able to compete with the other teams in the battle for the top four over the past six seasons, and that is highlighted by his deserved 89 rating on FIFA 20. There are very few more agile goalkeepers in world football.
Defender: Sergio Ramos
Club: Real Madrid
Sergio Ramos’ longevity just highlights how much Real Madrid have benefited by having him in their back four. Ramos is aged 34 now and is still an integral member of their team. While some may say that his rating of 89 is more on the generous side, he is still able to make vital tackles in defensive positions.  Not just that, but he is also an asset on attacking set pieces as he has a high heading rating, which means that he could pop up with important goals to help the team.
Midfielder: Sergio Busquets
Club: Barcelona
Another player with a rating of 89 is Barcelona’s influential defensive midfielder Sergio Busquets. He is often the unsung hero in the middle of the Barcelona midfield, as he does all the dirty work that allows players such as Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez to flourish. His interception, short past, and stand tackle are all reasons that players on FIFA 20 should be rushing out to ensure that they have him in their team.
Striker: Iago Aspas
Club: Celta Vigo
The one position where Spain has struggled over recent seasons is in the number nine. Alvaro Morata has failed to live up to the hype, while Diego Costa is now slowing down. Spain have failed to replace David Villa and Fernando Torres, which means that 85-rated Aspas is the highest rated striker. There are certainly better options on FIFA 20 than the Celta Vigo man. But he does have a shooting rating of 84, which highlights that he can be clinical when called upon.
