ITV ‘Coronation Street’ spoilers finds that fans saw the return of Shona Platt in last night’s episode as she paid a visit to prison to see her son Clayton Hobbs. Fans were sickened by Clayton’s attempts to manipulate his mother, as he tried to persuade her to bring drugs into the prison. He also revealed to her that David Platt was an alcoholic and used to beat her, but that was something that her care worker quickly told her wasn’t true.
Later, viewers saw Shona have her first meeting with one of the Platt’s, as Sarah saw her for the first time since the accident. Shona didn’t recognise Sarah, but wanted to know more. The care worker seemingly asked Sarah to come so that Shona could ask any questions that she may have. Shona asked whether they were happy together and whether David used to hit her, and she said they were very much in love and David never laid a finger on her.

Sarah then delivered an emotional message to Shona, as she admitted that David did break her heart once. She admitted that she broke her heart because he was reeling after being raped. Shona was immediately concerned by David, before Sarah admitted that she was the reason that David was able to recover, as their love overcome his hurt during that period.
The care worker didn’t approve of Sarah bringing up David’s past. But, Sarah ended the meeting with Shona by admitting that he needs her more than ever right now as he is spiralling out of control. David was fortunate to escape a beating last night, as his flirtation with dangerous criminals almost went too far as they finally caught him. Fortunately, the police were there and Craig Tinker immediately told David that he needs to stop.

It has already been revealed that Shona will return to Weatherfield over the coming days, but it hasn’t yet been confirmed whether she will remember anything about the area. Viewers are hoping that this story will have a happy ending, with Shona and David able to continue their lives together.
There are signs that her memory is returning next week as she remembers where the tea bags are kept. But, fans are already predicting that this will take a long time. Some have predicted that Shona may take another bump to the head and remember everything, while others are convinced that David will win her over again and they will start their relationship from scratch.
