‘Among Us’ blew up this Summer after being released in 2018. Even though it took a few years to gain popularity, it’s something that should be noted. Many times, independent games go under the radar and many mock them for their short gameplays or shoddy graphics.
However, it’s not always about in-depth storylines and top of the line graphics, sometimes (and it should be all the time) it’s just about having fun. Thankfully, ‘Among Us’ has tackled that thought and hopefully, many people are beginning to realize that you don’t need to spend $59.99 on a AAA game to have fun.
‘Among Us’ is only $4.99 and has been one of the biggest games on the planet with more updates and patches planned.
‘Among Us’ Proves That Independent Games Are Not To Be Messed With
With the rise of ‘Among Us’, it’ll be interesting to see if gamers will begin looking toward other indie titles and find something else they enjoy.
Perhaps, most surprising is the developers of ‘Among Us’, InnerSloth, is a team of just three people, and they are going toe to toe with powerhouse companies.
It’s been exciting to see ‘Among Us’ continue to rise, hopefully, the hype won’t die out and the developers will have time to keep adding to the game, or even create something new for their next title!
