There was a lot of drama, a lot of tears, and a very dramatic walk off.
Lifetime ‘Married at First Sight’ Spoilers: The Experiment Helps Couples Decide on Love
For eight weeks, these couples got to know each other better and find out if they would be compatible in a marriage. Many couples called it quits, but some stayed married and felt like they can make this work. Every couple will not have a happy ending and that is why this show has become so popular. Even cast member Derek Sherman spoke out about this, “I do think there’s a chance and I think this chance is worth taking because we don’t get chances at love often.”
Lifetime ‘Married at First Sight’ Spoilers: The Dramatic Ending
On the final episode, we learned that Austin Hurd and Jessica Studer decided to stay married. Finally Jess got to hear Austin say he loved her. “I see you love me. I feel the commitment and I truly see you have my back every single day and it makes me know I love you. Of course I want to stay married to you. I knew it all along.”
Taylor Dunklin and Brandon Reid decided on a divorce. Brandon had a lot of fights on the show with the production team and Taylor. Many say he is unstable when it comes to his temper. He came late to Decision Day and Taylor didn’t think he would show up at all. Taylor said, “We’ve had some good times. I feel like we were on the break of starting more and new communication but with all the things that have transpired, it might not be the best for us to try to continue. With that being said, I would like to get a divorce.” That’s when Brandon stormed off and told them all he was done.
Brandon made such a big deal and the matchmakers and Taylor weren’t shocked by his behavior. He has a flair for the dramatic, so many of us just knew this would happen. The reunion episode airs on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime and we do hope that we get to see Taylor and Brandon this time and check in with them.
