ITV ‘Coronation Street’ spoilers have revealed that the tension between Alya Nazir and Geoff Metcalfe will continue to rise over coming episodes. Alya has been convinced for months that Geoff is hiding something, and has been digging into his past. She found out that he was arrested for affray and also urged Yasmeen to talk to the police.
Yasmeen did briefly talk to the police, but it didn’t take long for Geoff to find out that she was thinking about escaping. He saw that she had packed a bag and had hidden it away, and then he urged her to take it out. She had little choice, and he responded by burning all her clothes so that she could run away.

Viewers saw last week that Alya made the decision to change the locks so Geoff couldn’t get back into the house. She revealed to Ryan that it was her grandmother’s house, and that she will not allow Geoff to move straight back in. He doesn’t know that the locks have been changed yet, but that will change next week.
Alya will take great joy in telling Geoff that she has changed the locks to the house so he can’t get in. Tim will also be there when she breaks the news, and he allows his father to stay with him. However, Geoff will then continue to watch Alya while she is in the house as the cameras that he had installed are still there.

Viewers have been aware of the cameras for the best part of a year, and it could still be the best evidence that Yasmeen has in her defence. However, nobody has been able to find them yet. Geoff will panic since he is now locked out of the house and will no longer be able to move the cameras, but will Alya be able to find them.
Fans will be hoping so, as Yasmeen will need every piece of help that she can get to prove her innocence. A few characters are already beginning to doubt Geoff’s story, but the revelation that he has been watching her would certainly give Yasmeen the momentum that she needs.
