African players have taken the world of football by storm throughout history. Generational talents such as Jay-Jay Okotcha and Roger Milla were trail blazers in the 90s, and their legacy has been extended with the breakthroughs of future African talent in the form of Sadio Mane, Mohammed Salah and Riyad Mahrez.
Many believe that it is only a matter of time before an African nation wins the World Cup for the first time, and a few of the young African players that we talk about in this article may be the ones to lead their nation to historic glory.
FIFA 21 News: Mohammed Kudus
Ajax have an esteemed history of bringing through exceptionally gifted younger players, and they currently have one of the most exciting African players in world football. Mohammed Kudus is just 19-years-old at present, but he already has an overall rating of 75 on FIFA 21.
Managers will have to pay a fee of £11 million to get him to their club, but he will be well worth the money should he rise to his potential rating of 85. The Ghanaian plays in the number ten position, and has high attributes for balance, acceleration, agility and sprint speed.
FIFA 21 News: Chadi Riad
It is extremely rare for a 17-year-old to have such a high potential rating on FIFA 21, but that is the case for Chadi Riad. The young defender will be found in Career Mode at CE Sabadell FC, as he is on loan from Barcelona. He starts the game at a small rating of 59, but managers will be keen to move for the defender quickly as his rating rises to as high as 84 after a number of seasons.
To make matters even more appealing for managers, he will cost a fee of just £600,000 on Career Mode. He would be an excellent signing for all clubs in Career Mode with an eye to the future.
FIFA 21 News: Kamal Deen Sulemana
Kamal Deen Sulemana is a player cut from the same cloth as Sadio Mane, as the 18-year-old boasts many of the same traits that the Liverpool winger has. Furthermore, they both play in the same position on the left-wing. Sulemana will be available to managers from FC Nordsjaelland, and will only cost £2 million.
However, managers would be better placed to activate his release clause, which is £2.1 million. His pace from the very first season is astounding, as he has attributes of 91 for acceleration, 92 for sprint speed and 86 for agility. He will rise to a potential rating of 83.
