ITV ‘Coronation Street’ spoilers for next week have emerged, and it looks to be a huge week for the storyline surrounding the domestic abusive that Geoff Metcalfe is causing towards Yasmeen Nazir. No soap storyline has attracted more complaints to Ofcom this year so far, but it would seem that the storyline could be reaching its conclusion according to the trailer that was dropped for next week’s episodes.
The teaser was revealed on Monday morning and showed Yasmeen calling the police to report a crime. In the remainder of the trailer there are flashbacks and scenes from upcoming episodes that show Yasmeen being controlled by Geoff. However, the trailer ends with Yasmeen telling the operator that she thinks that she has killed her husband, with pictures released showing that she has bottled him.

Coronation Street fans have been seeing Yasmeen get closer and closer to revealing all about Geoff over the past couple of weeks. She met with officers a few weeks ago, who revealed that Geoff had history of abuse. However, she continued to live with him, and wasn’t even able to go to her grandson’s wedding as Geoff faked a heart attack. That raised alarm bells for Yasmeen as ambulance staff admitted that they couldn’t find anything wrong with him.
Alya was convinced that he was lying, but Ryan persuaded Yasmeen’s granddaughter to go to the wedding and he will look out for Yasmeen. Yasmeen will reach breaking point next week when Geoff forces her to wear a skimpy dress for a meal with Tim and Sally. He later tells Yasmeen that the dress was previously worn by an escort.

That will be the final straw for Yasmeen as she begins to stand up for herself. However, Geoff will be angry that he is losing control and will come at Yasmeen with a knife. That forces her to make a huge decision and pick up a bottle and hit it over her husband’s head. But, will Geoff really be dead?
The spoilers have teased that Geoff could be dead, but he would actually still be alive and make Yasmeen’s life a living misery. Should he actually be alive then he will be able to lie about Yasmeen attacking him, and that could mean Yasmeen looking at prison time while Geoff gets away with the crime. Fans will need to continue watching to see next week’s unmissable episodes.
