Viewers have watched on in disgust over the past couple of months as Geoff has made Yasmeen’s life a living misery. He has gained control of all of her finances, but this week she will be tipped over the edge.
Viewers already know that this week’s episodes will see Yasmeen attack Geoff in self-defence after he comes at her with a knife. Fans are already worried that this could mean Yasmeen looking at prison time, but could Tim be about to see through the controlling husband and side with Yasmeen?

Geoff has been working hard to ensure that he turns everyone against Yasmeen and that will be on full display later this week when the ambulance arrives at the house to take Geoff away. The emergency services will turn up just as Cathy, Brian and Peter Barlow are leaving the Rovers, and they will be left stunned.
Cathy will immediately worry about Yasmeen, but she later opens up about feeling that she has changed for the worse. Geoff has been forcing Yasmeen and Cathy to spend less time together, and that led to Yasmeen lashing out at Cathy earlier in the week. Meanwhile, Peter will be sceptical as he has been a shoulder to cry on in the past.

Peter has been on hand to listen to Yasmeen after he was told that she was an alcoholic. However, she revealed this week that wasn’t really the case before she froze when she saw Geoff. Peter immediately sensed that something wasn’t right. Tim will be shocked when he sees his father being wheeled away in an ambulance this week, but he will be told about what his father has been doing behind closed doors by Alya.
Alya will rush back from Spain to be at her grandmother’s side, and will set it upon herself to prove her innocence. She will plead with Sally to see what he has really been like and lists out the terrible things that Geoff has done. Sally could help Tim see the real Geoff. Fans will be hoping that there is light at the end of the tunnel for Yasmeen.
