ITV ‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers finds that viewers were left infuriated last night, as it was revealed that Yasmeen Nazir had not been granted bail. Yasmeen is currently awaiting trial for the attempted murder of Geoff Metcalfe. However, fans will know that she acted in self-defence after she believed that he was going to stab her. Geoff has been controlling Yasmeen for months, as residents in Walford have been oblivious.
Imran had been tasked with trying to get Yasmeen bail, but ultimately fell short in his efforts. The judge ruled that she wasn’t convinced that Yasmeen would be able to stay away from Geoff and his family and indicated that it would be best for her to stay behind bars regardless of her old age. The news came as a shock for those in attendance, with Alya Nazir revealing that is it a ‘nightmare’.

The coercive control storyline didn’t take up much of the television time last night, with the only scenes involving Yasmeen coming from the court. Earlier in the episode, Alya and Tim Metcalfe clashed as Yasmeen’s granddaughter revealed that he would soon be apologising after the truth comes out. Sally Metcalfe continues to question where her allegiance really lies.
Elsewhere, things appear to be going from bad to worse for David, as he went AWOL on the day of Gail’s birthday party. Gail told all her family that they were invited for a meal at the house later where they could spend time as a family. However, the enjoyable scenes saw Sarah and David both missing, which led to Gail and Audrey getting drunk by themselves.

The Gail and Audrey scenes were the best of the night, as the two talked about old times. Audrey later revealed how happy she was that she had Gail as a daughter, which was a nice heartwarming moment. However, viewers will be worried about David, as he is set to get himself in trouble again after over-hearing how dangerous a nearby area was from Craig Tinker.
Viewers will already know that David will upset a group of drug dealers over future episodes, with those scenes expected to air on Wednesday. However, will anybody be able to save David as he gets himself involved in something that he can’t handle?
