ITV ‘Coronation Street’ spoilers finds that fans were left angry during Monday night’s episode of the ITV soap, as they watched on as Geoff Metcalfe tried his best to manipulate Sally Metcalfe into taking his side. He pleaded with her to believe him for the sake of her marriage, as Tim Metcalfe’s health could be affected should she try and take Yasmeen Nazir’s side in the court case.
During his speech, Geoff also told Sally that he stood by her when she was sent to prison, and reminded Tim of his responsibilities to his wife while she wasn’t around. Sally was stunned by Geoff’s words and it quickly became clear that she wasn’t sure what to do as she doesn’t believe Geoff but doesn’t want to lose Tim.

It has been clear for the past couple of weeks that Sally is feeling very uncomfortable around Geoff at present, and that was once again the case as Tim trued to boost Geoff’s confidence. Tim took Geoff to the Rovers in the hope of getting him back into a routine, and they were shocked to see Sally there.
Geoff admitted that they should probably leave, but Tim was adamant that they could sort out their differences. However, it quickly became clear that wasn’t going to happen, as Sally admitted that she has a conscious and can’t sit and drink with Geoff knowing what he has done. Tim was stunned, but it would seem that there is no changing Sally’s mind.

In the tense scenes later in the episode, Sally is stunned when she is told that her stance could cause stress for Tim. Viewers will remember that Tim suffered a heart attack last year and Sally has been trying to ensure that he is healthy since that point. While Sally didn’t believe a word Geoff said, she doesn’t seem to want to take a chance on Tim’s health.
This was one of the most uncomfortable comments that Geoff has made to Sally, but will she believe him? Viewers will be hoping that she doesn’t, as next week, Alya Nazir will attempt to enlist the help of Sally in order to build a defence for Yasmeen. There will be a big week of decisions for Sally.
