Pokemon Let’s Go players will already be very aware of the differences between this game and many of the other Pokemon titles that have come before it. The inability to battle Pokemon in the wild is one of the factors that goes against the game for some, but there are also positive differences that makes this game stand out from those that come before it.
One of the most evident details is that there is no longer the ability to get the bike to increase the speed that you can travel around Kanto. Instead, you can make sure you collect one of the Pokemon that will enable you to travel around the region quicker. Here are some of the most entertaining Pokemon that you can acquire to do that.
‘Pokemon: Let’s Go’- Gyarados
There aren’t many more entertaining Pokemon on the game that Gyarados. Players will be able to get their hands on one pretty easily, and once you do, you will be able to travel on him across the water. Obviously there is the huge loop-hole that he should be able to fly too, but we can move past that. He glides across the water effortlessly and you’ll be able to experience it while travelling on his back.
‘Pokemon: Let’s Go’- Charizard
It isn’t surprising that Charizard has a special trait for players on this game, as he is always one of the main Pokemon that players want to own. Once again, he is easy to get your hands on as you simply train up the Charmander that you acquired on the outskirts of Cerulean City. Once you have your Charizard, you will be able to fly on his back. This is also one of the ways in which you can encounter some of the rarest Pokemon on the game.
‘Pokemon: Let’s Go’- Arcanine
Pokemon fans will finally be able to live out their dream of riding on Arcanine’s back in this game. As when you travel with him out of the Pokeball, you will be on top of him. It is one of the quickest ways to travel around Kanto, and gives you the nostalgic fix that you desire when playing Pokemon. You’ll find yourself getting attached to this Pokemon from the first second.
‘Pokemon: Let’s Go’- Snorlax
Of course, having a Dragonite is cool, but riding around hanging on for dear life on a Snorlax may just beat it. Fortunately, they will never pass out and go to sleep while you are hanging on. But if you’re looking to get somewhere in a hurry then you may be best off sticking with the Dragonite. However, for comedic value, there’s no Pokemon better.
