The spoilers have emerged after it has been revealed that the soap will begin to re-visit Carla Connor’s troubles last year.
Viewers of the soap will remember that Carla suffered from psychosis last year after the factory roof collapsed at Underworld, and she will be paid a visit over upcoming scenes from a mysterious new character. Carla will be unaware of who she is, but it will become clear that she knows exactly who Carla is.

Peter will be acting shifty after spotting one of the mysterious characters, and there could be something darker going on that he is hiding.
The new character that will appear to confront Carla is called Chelsey. She will make her big entrance before the end of the week, as she tries to find out more about Carla. Fans will be stunned when it is later revealed that Carla and Chelsey have previously met, when Carla was staying in the squat last year.

It will soon be revealed that Chelsey, along with her friend Jordan, are trying to blackmail Carla. They will demand £1,000 from the acting Rovers landlady. They demand the money and reveal that they will leave her alone as soon as they are paid. Peter is unsure about the newcomers. Carla doesn’t tell him what is really happening until later in the week.
Later in the episode, after Carla and Peter have managed to get Chelsey and Jordan out of the pub, it is revealed that a man and a woman have been left badly beaten on a local council estate. Peter quickly turns the radio off, but could he be hiding something? Fans will be left hooked on the upcoming storyline, but they will be hoping that it doesn’t mean the end of Peter and Carla’s relationship.
