BBC ‘EastEnders’ spoilers have teased that Kheerat Panesar could be about to step in and save Chantelle Atkins from the sickening abuse that she is suffering from at the hands of Gray Atkins. Viewers have been forced to watch on in disbelief for over a year as Gray has made Chantelle’s life a living misery. He controls who she can and can’t speak to, and the tension between the couple could reach fever pitch over the coming weeks.
Kheerat is aware that something is going on behind the scenes, and will become determined to help Chantelle get out of the situation. Fans believed that they were finally going to see Chantelle open up about the abuse a few weeks ago when Kheerat questioned bruises on Chantelle’s arm. However, she played them down, but that wasn’t enough to ward Kheerat off.

Viewers have been counting down the episodes until Gray finally gets what he deserves, and days could be numbered after Kheerat decides to continue to delve into their relationship. Fans have been sickened by how abuse he has been to his wife, as she has suffered a number of injuries in the short time that she has been in Walford.
The walls will slowly be caving in for Gray over the coming weeks as fellow residents in Walford finally begin to see the bruises that she has on her arms and the remainder of her body. Tensions between the two continued to mount after Gray was told by Chantelle that he must take Whitney Dean’s case. He was furious that she was telling him what to do, and as Whitney’s case went against him, he became more and more abusive at home.

Gray hit the roof a number of weeks ago as he was convinced that somebody knew about the abuse. He believed that Chantelle had opened up to her father and beat her so badly that she wasn’t able to walk the next day. Gray was distraught when he found out later that she hadn’t said anything, but it would seem that his wife had finally run out of patience as she refused to accept his apology.
Over the coming weeks, fans will see Chantelle finally make her move to leave Gray for good. But, will Kheerat be able to help her or will Gray get to her while she is packing up ready to leave? There are going to be more hard-to-watch scenes in the soap, but fans will be praying that she will be able to escape.
