There are some games that are good, some are decent and bad. There are even some games that are so bad they’re good. This just looks bad… ‘Fast & Furious Crossroads‘ was laughed at when it was first revealed though I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. Vin Diesel’s ‘Riddick’ games ended up being pretty decent, but it looks like they’re still thinking about the PS2 era.
‘Fast & Furious Crossroads’ looks like it should have been released back in 2003 on Playstation 2. Now, with a new trailer, it doesn’t look any better. However, it’s not just the graphics. The audio sounds cheesy and full of one-liners. Plus, the actual gameplay looks a little bland. Easy to pass obstacles and long-winded chase sequences with boring missions.
‘Fast & Furious Crossroads’ Is Still Laughable – How Is This Real? | PS4 | Xbox | PC
You can see the gameplay showcase trailer above. It’s not super enticing. According to the summary beneath the video,
“Here’s your first look at gameplay from Fast & Furious Crossroads. Packed with gadgets, death-defying heists and iconic vehicles, #FastFuriousCrossroads will be available for Xbox One on August 7, 2020.“
It’s odd to see something like this in 2020, and it’s hard to believe that this will do well. The comments aren’t any better. “Awesome mobile game”, “Asphalt 8 on mobile has better graphics than this…”, “The voice lines are so bad holy god”, and “Nice, they still doing games for PS2, Gamecube and Xbox”.
