FIFA 21 players were give an extended first look into what they can expect with Ultimate Team in the upcoming release on Monday evening, and that included the announcement of more icons that will be added to the title for the game. We have already revealed that Eric Cantona, Xavi and Petr Cech have been added for the game.
However, there have been further players added now, and all of them will have gained a certain level of excitement amongst players of the football game. But, which stars will players be able to find on Ultimate Team in FIFA 21?
FIFA 21: Modern Greats Added
There was great excitement amongst players, as it was revealed that Samuel Eto’o, Nemanja Vidic and Fernando Torres were among the players that have been added.
It will certainly be exciting for Manchester United fans, as they will now have the opportunity of a reunion of legendary defensive pair Rio Ferdinand and Vidic.
The duo were pivotal players as United won three Premier League titles on the bounce between 2007 and 2009, while they also won the Champions League.
Torres enjoyed club success with Liverpool and Chelsea, while he was also part of the all-conquering Spain squad that won two European Championships and the World Cup between 2008 and 2012.
FIFA 21: German Legends Added
There will also be anticipation from German players of FIFA 21, as they will be able to play as two players that were part of the golden generation of players from their country.
Philip Lahm and Bastian Schweinsteiger have both been added, with both players also achieving hugely dominant careers during their stay with Bayern Munich. Lahm isn’t the only exceptional full back that has been added, as Ashley Cole will also be available.
Cole was part of the famous Arsenal invincibles, before he made a shocking move to Chelsea to win numerous accolades including the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.
Other great players from yesteryear have also been added, with Davor Suker and Ferenc Puskas. The latter of those was a hugely influential figure in the world of football in the 50s and 60s and his name is on the award that is awarded for best goal of the year.
Suker was an exceptional player in his own right as he was pivotal for Croatia as they finished third in the World Cup in 1998.
