Abigail Spencer, who happens to be a friend of Meghan Markle, revealed she was prevented from speaking out amid the Duchess of Sussex’s struggles in the Royal Family.
Meghan Markle’s Friend Abigail Spencer Claims She Was ‘Not Allowed To Say Anything’ About Her Struggles
Those comments were made in Prince Harry and Meghan’s docuseries where Spencer addressed Meghan’s major struggles. This was something the Sussexes touched upon in their Oprah Winfrey interview.

And given that Spencer had to sit by and not be allowed to anything, it started to take a toll on her. In her comments, she said: “That was a really dark… That was a really dark time. And I didn’t know what to do.
“Like, that’s the thing, they are in this complex organism that I don’t know anything about or how to help or what to do. And I’m not allowed to say anything. Like I was not allowed to say anything.”
And this would suggest that the Sussexes have plenty more that they may wish to disclose moving forward. Harry’s upcoming memoir, Spare, is set to come out in the New Year.
Not only that, but during her controversial interview with ‘The Cut,’ Meghan made it clear that she had been keeping a journal during her time in the Royal Family.
And given that she had not signed a non-disclosure agreement, there is always the possibility that Meghan could divulge more. In her comments at the time, Meghan remarked: “You go back and you open drawers and you’re like, Oh my gosh.
“This is what I was writing in my journal there. She had enough time in the royal fold to learn secrets, some decades old, which could cause embarrassment and heartache for the Queen and her family, but could earn a fortune for Meghan.”
Now that the docuseries has come out, the couple have finally managed to speak their truth. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
