There’s more in the mobile gaming bag, folks. Let’s take a look at Supernova’s Last Hero and see is it worth running so many advertisements for during my games.
Last Hero
My brother has been playing Archero a lot on iOS. Now, a week after we were discussing it regularly, I started getting ads for Last Hero as well as Archero.
I’m not saying anything is fishy but when something is constantly advertised while I’m watching a video to get coins or whatever in another game, I’m going to go ahead and try it eventually.
I just held out on Last Hero. When I finally installed it and gave it a play, it took me back to Spacelanders, another mobile game I reviewed a month or two back.
As a matter of fact, the gameplay of both of these games is identical to Archero only with a sci-fi theme. If you’ve played Archero, then you know what you’re getting here.
You can play with one finger while advancing through a set number of rooms per level. Monsters are all sci-fi oriented and actually, things go from fighting mutants to fighting robots and aliens.

While your characters have base levels that can be upgraded, you level up as you go through a level and have a choice of three perks. Getting the tankiest and destructive build is key.
Here I thought we were fighting zombies but apparently, we’re fighting everything. You’re able to upgrade gear, unlock a few characters, and participate in a couple of challenges.
It’s all nothing you won’t run into in any other Archero-clone. We’re talking straight-up one against many, one against waves action.
Mobile Gaming Verdict: 7/10
What can I say? This is a good clone of a successful game. I don’t know if it’ll pop off like so many match-three and match-four games but it is a blast to play.
The one major problem is that with certain builds you just march through stages and melt bosses. If you manage to get a revive, invincibility, and just keep stacking the diagonal fire then you’re a walking nightmare for enemies.
Don’t get me started on the lightsaber/drone combo. Then you’re an arsenal of doom.
Overall, this is a really good game but you can end up very powerful by the time you reach player level 20 or have your first character at around level six or seven.
