Pokemon fans could spend hours hunting around the Kanto region looking to find all the rarest Pokemon to complete their Pokedex. However, that is hugely time-consuming and there are better things that you could be doing in that time. One of the things that you could be doing instead is training your Pokemon to be as strong as possible so that you are in a prime position to beat the Elite Four and become Pokemon Master.
Should you be looking for some extra help on how to get your hands on some of the rarest Pokemon on the game, then we are here to help. These are some of the rarest Pokemon on the game, and where you can go to find them.
Lapras
Type: Water/Ice
One of the most loved Pokemon is Lapras, and in previous games these have been very hard to find. However, that isn’t the case in Pokemon: Let’s Go, as players will be rewarded for their efforts in defeating Team Rocket at Silph Co by being given the rare Pokemon. In order to claim your reward, you will simply have to talk to one of the employee’s on the seventh floor.
Porygon
Type: Normal
Getting this rare Pokemon in the original games was simple in the process but also time-consuming. In Yellow, Red and Blue, players would have to accumulate enough coins to buy Porygon at the Celadon City Game Corner. However, in Pokemon: Let’s Go, it’s more straightforward than that, as players will be able to claim one for free by talking to a man next to Silph Co after defeating Team Rocket.
Ditto
Type: Normal
One of the most difficult Pokemon to find in this game is Ditto. They can be found in the Pokemon Mansion, but they are incredibly rare. They have a 01-10% spawn rate, which means that you will need to be incredibly fortunate to find one there. However, if you wait around long enough or visit often, then you will strike lucky eventually.
Dratini
Type: Dragon
Every player on Pokemon wants to get a Dragonite in their team, and the simplest way to do that is by finding a Dratini and then training it up. Both Dratini and Dragonair can be found on Route 10, but like Ditto, you will need to be hugely fortunate to find one at the first try as they have a spawn rate of 01-10%. However, when you finally get a Dragonite, it would be worth the effort.
Scyther
Type: Bug/Flying
One of the most underrated Pokemon on the game is Scyther, but in order to get the bug and flying Pokemon, trainers will have to work incredibly hard and be patient. The only place to find one is on route 15, but there is a spawn rate of 01-10%. In order to improve your chances, you can go on a long sequence of catching Pokemon to increase your catch combo.
