There is less than a week to go before Pokemon fans can delve back into Pokemon Sword and Shield with the DLC release of the Isle of Armor. The game itself was one of the best received Pokemon games of all time, but there were still fans that were expecting more.

The biggest disappointment was the number of Pokemon that were missing from the game from the original Pokedex. That already seems like one of the biggest aspects that the DLC will improve upon, but which Pokemon would we love to see added to the upcoming release?

    Pokemon Sword And Shield: Scizor

Pokemon fans around the world have a special affection towards Scyther, and that has stemmed back from the early releases of Red and Blue. His popularity quickly passed over to the evolved version of Scizor. Fans around the world are hoping that they both feature on the new game. There will be hope that could be the case as the trailers have already shown that Scyther will on the game.

    Pokemon Sword And Shield: Aggron

There are so many Pokemon missing from the Ruby, Sapphire, Gold and Silver games, and that’s what fans are most disappointed about. The number of Pokemon is depleted by that much that developers will need to ensure that a big name is added to the upcoming release. And, there aren’t many bigger than everyone’s favourite steel-type Pokemon Aggron. Fans will be hoping that he will be featured.

    Pokemon Sword And Shield: Alakazam

Psychic Pokemon are often a go-to for most trainers that want to become a Pokemon Master, which meant there was great disappointment when Alakazam and the whole evolution line was missing in Sword and Shield. The chances are that could change in the upcoming release, and we will once again be treated to seeing Alakazam’s spoons.

    Pokemon Sword And Shield: Psyduck

Perhaps one of the biggest shock exclusions for Sword and Shield was Psyduck. The Pokemon has been a prominent part of the hit television series and subsequently the Detective Pikachu release. The Pokemon is commonly referred to as one of the favourites amongst fans, which made his exclusion all the more disappointing.

    Pokemon Sword And Shield: Dragonite

Dragonite is the coolest Pokemon in the entire Pokedex, and that means he needs to be included in the upcoming DLC. If the developers have been looking at online polls, then there is a good chance that the dragon-type will be included as he commonly ranks towards the top of Pokemon that fans want included. There hasn’t been any official announcement yet, but fans will be searching high and wide looking for a wild Dragonite when the DLC is released.
