There are only a few days left before the DLC for Pokemon Sword and Shield is released. Pokemon fans have been counting down the days for months now, but the expansion will finally be released on Tuesday next week. Players will be able to delve back into the world of Pokemon and begin to explore the Isle of Armor.
Later in the year, players will be able to explore a brand new region once again when the Crown Tundra becomes playable. There have been a number of huge announcements this week regarding the game, with players given insights into Galarian forms of Pokemon that will be available. But, these are our favourite three that we cannot wait to find and catch.
Pokemon Sword And Shield: Galarian Slowpoke
It does feel as though Slowpoke will be the star of the upcoming release as the Pokemon is plastered on all of the adverts for the game. For good reason too, as there will be a special Galarian version of Slowpoke for players to find. It has been revealed that the Galarian versions of Slowpoke, and then Slowbro will both be Poison/Psychic types. Furthermore, Slowbro will have a special move called Shell Side Arm, which will see them fire poison from the shell that he is holding. Exciting stuff for Slowpoke and Slowbro fans.
Pokemon Sword And Shield: Galarian Legendary Birds
The expansion will see the welcome return of the original three legendary Pokemon that fans grew up dreaming of catching. Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno will all be available in the expansion, with all of them have a Galarian form. That means that each of them will have a new skill, and that comes complete with a special move that fans will love to see. Moltres will have Fiery Wrath, while Zapdos and Articuno will have Thunderous Kick and Freezing Glare respectively. Fans will be hoping to track them down as soon as they arrive on the Isle of Armor.
Pokemon Sword And Shield: Gigantamax Venuasur And Blastoise
While they may not be a Galarian form, it is still exciting players that there will be a welcome return to a Pokemon game for two of the original Pokemon. However, the fact that will get most players excited the most is that there will be a Gigantamax option for both Blastoise and Venusaur. Both Pokemon will have their own special moves, with G-Max Vine Lash for the grass type Pokemon and G-Max Cannonade for the water-type. It couldn’t get any more exciting for Pokemon fans.
