Netflix has been bringing us a lot of new shows and one of these is the reality show called Hype House. This show has become very popular with those who love reality shows, but from what we have seen, it may not be all that it’s pumped up to be.
The cast members of the show may not seem to be the best type of characters. This show was created back in 2019 and the whole idea of it was to bring a bunch TikTokers together and put them in a mansion in South California. Of course, the idea was only received well by a few because most people think that watching a show about TikTokers is just a terrible idea. Now Hype House is on Netflix and there are quite a few viewers that have strong opinions on it.
Reality Shows: Hype House on Netflix
A few of the TikTokers in the show are Charli D’Amelio, Alex Warren, Thomas Petrou, Nick Austin, and Connor Yates, to name a handful. Many of the members of the show have some deeper stories than we would think. Many of them have lost their parents tragically or have suffered from abusive pasts. None of them are older than 25 years old, in fact, some of them are still teenagers.
For those who have started to watch Hype House, you have already seen a breakdown or two. One break down happened with the co-founder of Hype House, named Thomas Petrou. He talks a lot about his mother and the relationship he had with her.
As he grew up, he found himself taking care of her and taking care of things in their home. This all comes down when he feels that Hype House is falling apart and the friendships in the house are crumbling too. He tells everyone in the house that it is time for him to leave and this crushes the other members of Hype House.
For many of those who have watched Hype House, it is clear that there will be more members and another season of the show. This train wreck of a show, for some, does seem like a cry for help for their childhood traumas and other issues. There are many parts of it that seem incredibly scripted even though all the members have said that it is not.
You can keep an eye on the cast members on their TikTok and Instagram accounts.
