Sony’s PlayStation 5 has been stringing us along this year and giving us very small glimpses at what we could be possibly getting. The PlayStation official YouTube page released a video that furthered this with some shadowed looks at the new DS5 controller and text telling us it will be the future of gaming.
They also ask us to join them tomorrow, June 11 at 1 PM (PDT) at Playstation.com/ps5. This, of course, has a lot of people anticipating the unveiling of the PlayStation 5 or at least possibly some launch titles. While we can’t be entirely sure what we’ll get, we hope it’s better than the boring presentation we received a few months ago.

This video hasn’t stopped fans from mocking the company, however. There are several comments that joke about how long it’s taken to get a reveal. Things like, “See you guys in 10 years when this gets recommended to you again”, “This is literally an Ad for a future Advertisement…”, and “So the controller is basically scuffed gaming controllers?”.
Through all the jokes, however, we all know we’re excited and all going to be lining up to buy the thing when it releases. It also appears that what we thought about the PS5 may have been completely wrong. The white and black style we had seen circulating the net was probably just a prototype or a color scheme you can purchase. The controller in this video looks more like the traditional DS4 with its sleek black and blue scheme. What do you think? Are you excited to see what Sony is going to tell us?
