Jugar con Fuego Spoilers: Someone’s watching
So, after the last episode (and Martina Jaramillo’s—Margarita Rosa de Francisco–strange behavior of late), Jorge Jaramillo (Carlos Ponce) has decided it’s time to keep a closer watch on his wife. He deliberately steals her keys to, we assume delay her from leaving without him knowing it. While she’s searching for them so she can meet with Fabrizio Ramirez, he makes his move. He orders Gildardo (Alejandro Aguilar) to follow her, with the strict instructions that Jorge is given a full report of what she does and who she visits. Gildardo is more than happy to oblige.
Later, he follows Martina to Fabrizio’s place, and Martina discovers he’s not there. That’s not a problem for her, as she’s willing to chill until he gets there. When he finally does arrive, Martina is all ready to jump in to an affair. Fabrizio, having fallen for Andrea Jaramillo (Laura Perico), pushes her away and tells her that this is a mistake. They can’t be anything to each other. Martina is completely crushed and takes off. The whole way, she sobs and drives recklessly, finally coming to a stop at the spot we see in the first episode. Just as in that opening shot, she stands over a deep drop, sobbing. Gildardo is still following her without her knowledge, and quietly encourages her to go for it. And we just reached a new level of hate for this already creepy character.
Jugar con Fuego Spoilers: Brotherly love
After the incident with Martina, Fabrizio meets up with Poncho (Luis Alberti), who tells basically says he’s an idiot for ever having tried anything with the boss’ wife. Fabrizio clearly doesn’t appreciate this statement of the obvious and doesn’t know what to do about it. All he knows is, he doesn’t want Andrea to find out.
Speaking of Andrea, later on, she gives Fabrizio a heart attack when she sneaks into his place to set up a surprise. Her surprise seems to make him even more nervous. What is it? Well, she had the idea to set up her camera secretly outside his home and get a 24-hour view of his home, of which he is the heart, then make a photo collection out of it. It’s a sweet idea, but he appears nervous when another car appear in one of the shots. Thankfully for him, she doesn’t seem to catch any of Martina’s visit.
Jugar con Fuego Spoilers: It’s on
Meanwhile, Jorge continues to be disturbed by Martina’s behavior. After she arrives from her ill-fated meeting with Fabrizio and locks herself in the bathroom, he decides he’s had enough. He calls Gildardo and tells him to meet him in his office.
When they meet, Gildardo exaggerates some parts of what he saw and totally leaves out others, even going to far as to tell Jorge he thinks that the pair have been sleeping together behind his back for a long time. Jorge is completely enraged and decides that he’s going to take care of things his way. Gildardo worries about the little things, you know, like cops, but Jorge doesn’t. On his orders, Gildardo contacts Eliseo (Ricardo Vesga) to assist in a hit on Fabrizio.
