We all love the AAA titles we get to play. With ‘Doom Eternal’ and ‘Animal Crossing New Horizons’ launching last week, that’s all we’ve been doing while stuck inside. However, if you’ve ever wanted to travel outside the fences and see what else was out there, this is the thing for you. ‘The Indie Gamer Magazine’ is a small independent magazine that showcases independent games and developer interviews. These games come from all over the world, and most of the time fly under the radar. However, you may just find your next favorite game in here.
‘The Indie Gamer Magazine’ Relaunched – Small Indie Mag Covering Awesome Games
Started in 2018 and funded on Kickstarter the magazine had a moderately successful year. However, last year and went away for a few months. In March of this year, it relaunched with new writers, a new style and a larger size. Today was it’s second issue back and it looks pretty cool.
If you sign up for a digital subscription, you can get your first month free. After that, it’s only $4.99 a month. One of the cooler things about the magazine is it comes in print as well. Even in today’s digital age, it’s cool to hold a physical magazine.
Independent developers are putting a lot of time and work into these creations, they deserve to be seen. You can check it out on their website or follow them on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
While you’re inside during this COVID-19 crisis, you could find some cool titles in this that you probably have never heard of. That doesn’t make them bad, but all the more memorable. What do you think? Will you give a free month a chance?
