‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicates that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) needs some help. He doesn’t really know how to connect with his son, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and he keeps missing the mark.

Tucker McCall doesn’t have the reputation of being a trustworthy guy. He burned bridges with a lot of people. One of the people who struggles to accept him is his biological son, Devon. McCall has always had a hidden agenda and isn’t upfront about anything. That has hurt Devon.
The most recent event that burned Devon was Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) “spying” on Chancellor-Winters for McCall. Charles was fired and Devon said he didn’t want anything more to do with McCall.
Tucker now swears that he has turned over a new leaf. He has sold his cooperation, McCall Unlimited. Tucker is completely focused on being a “new man” for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and for his son Devon and Devon’s son. He wants to prove himself to all of them.
Ashley doesn’t really believe him and is guarded. She told him that he needed to sell his company to Devon in order to reconcile with her. McCall did not succeed in this, even though he tried.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Keeps Trying
When Tucker discovers that Devon is going to have a party to memorialize the life of Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), he has an idea. He tells Devon that he wants to announce the launch of a Jazz Festival in honor of Neil.
Devon says that is nice and appreciates the sentiment but says ‘no thanks’. He tells Tucker that they want to focus on the small intimate party and that Tucker doesn’t need to make some flashy announcement to draw attention to himself.
Again, Devon doesn’t trust Tucker. He always has something up his sleeve. Tucker interferes often and doesn’t help the situation. Devon does invite Tucker to the party but doesn’t want him doing something flashy.
Of course, Tucker didn’t listen, and ends up shocking Devon by inviting an unexpected guest to the party. Harmony ‘Yolanda’ Hamilton (Chene Lawson), Devon’s biological mother, has just walked in the door. How will Devon react? Will he be thankful for Tucker’s interference this time, or will he be upset? What do you think? Will this help or hurt his relationship with McCall?
