‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R)spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is a guy who will do whatever it takes to get what he wants, even if it means lying and taking advantage of others.
Victor’s primary objective is to convince McCall Unlimited to give Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) money, but he is not putting together a complex plan to achieve this, and it could harm his relationship with his daughter Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
Abby has been dating Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) for a while, but she hasn’t told her father. He learned the truth in the most bizarre manner imaginable when he saw Abby descend his stairs wearing Devon’s shirt while still in her underwear.

So what does the bond between Abby and Devon have to do with this? Well, Victor is merely attempting to assist Devon and acting as though he cares about the legacy of his business in order for Devon to ostensibly abandon his purchase of Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) company. I’m done now.
In addition, Devon might work harder to acquire the company out of spite for Victor if Abby finds out that her father is bringing Devon on vacation while pretending to care about his business.
Once more, we see Victor trying to “help” one of his kids only to destroy people’s lives and give him the impression that he is still in charge.
Perhaps it is necessary for Victor to finally understand that life is not all about him and that he should try to build relationships with his kids rather than just attempting to put them in positions of authority all the time.
