ITV ‘Coronation Street’ spoilers have emerged ahead of what is sure to be a dramatic couple of weeks in the soap. Fans will be aware that Yasmeen Nazir will stab Geoff Metcalfe this week and believe that she has killed him, but viewers will know that this will be a consequence after the abuse that Yasmeen has suffered at the hands of her controlling boyfriend.
Geoff has been trying to turn all of Yasmeen’s friends against her, and it would seem to be working. The tensions are going to boil over on Friday, with pictures already showing Yasmeen behind bars. She will be denied bail by the police after they believe that she is the one that is responsible for attacking him without being provoked.

Yasmeen will be left frightened as she is forced to spend a night behind bars, and that will force Alya Nazir to return home early from her trip to Spain. Alya will be told about the attack from Ryan, who will admit that Tim is in hospital after being stabbed by Yasmeen. The granddaughter will be convinced that Yasmeen is innocent and will try and get people to support her.
Of course, Yasmeen will be innocent as she will be acting in self-defence after Geoff comes at her with a knife. Tim Metcalfe and Sally Metcalfe will be stunned by the news, and while Tim turns his back on Yasmeen, Sally could be a big player over the coming months according to Alya. Imran will also believe Alya but he will be unable to get Yasmeen out of prison while she is pleading guilty.

Alya will tell everyone that will listen about Geoff brainwashing Yasmeen, and it would appear that one character that is actually inclined to believe her is Sally. Tim will believe his father straight away, but Sally then thinks back about certain occasions that could point to Alya telling the truth. She will continue to tell everyone in the Rovers about what Geoff is really like.
Viewers will have to continue watching to see how this story plays but it promises to be a story that will continue to rumble on for the next couple of months. However, fans will be hopeful that Geoff will finally be punished for the crimes that he has committed.
