ITV ‘Coronation Street’ spoilers have highlighted that tonight Carla Connor will demand answers from Peter Barlow. Carla saw a newspaper article in the closing stages of Monday’s episode that there had been an assault on a man and a woman in the Brightwell Estate, and immediately feared that Peter may have over stepped the line.
Carla made the brave decision last week to face up to her demons by admitting that she was forced to sleep with Jordan in order to get a roof over her head when she was suffering from psychosis. Viewers will remember the powerful scenes that aired last year as Carla suffered following the collapse and subsequent death of Rana Connor.

Jordan and Chelsey re-appeared in Carla’s life last week as they demanded money for the drugs that she had destroyed while she was staying with them. Carla immediately felt threatened and attempted to get enough money together to keep them away from her, and after Peter agreed to help she was ready to give them what they were asking for.
However, later in the episode, Carla decided to take a stand against the two thugs and instead told the entire pub that she was forced into sex and now they were trying to blackmail her. The whole pub was in adulation for Carla, before Peter looked on furiously as Abi and Scott pushed them out of the pub.

After seeing the newspaper report, Carla’s interest was piqued as she noticed that it happened in the same area that the two of them hung out. Tonight, Carla will head straight to the Rovers and demand answers from Peter as he mysteriously disappeared for hours on the night of the attack.
During the scenes that will air tonight, Peter will admit to Carla that he was at an AA meeting and didn’t have any idea that the two of them were attacked. Carla continues to berate Peter before he finally manages to persuade her that he was where he claimed to be. But, if Peter didn’t attack Jordan and Chelsey, who could have done?
