ITV ‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers indicate that fans have been gripped to the soap over the past couple of months as they plead for Yasmeen Nazir to finally come out of her controlling relationship with Geoff Metcalfe. The hard-hitting storyline has seen the soap enjoy the highest ratings that it has had for 17-months. But, the story that is being told is more important than any rating that the soap may get.
Yasmeen is currently in prison after being denied bail. She stabbed Geoff after believing that he was going to kill her a couple of Friday’s ago. Geoff has been controlling Yasmeen for months, but there is still hope for Yasmeen as some big moments could be revealed to help her case.

Earlier this year Cathy saw firsthand what it was like living with Geoff, and she could come forward with what she witnessed. She left her bag at their house after drinking with Yasmeen. However, when she returns, Geoff is unaware that she is in the house and begins shouting at Yasmeen. Cathy is dumbfounded by what she is hearing, and viewers will be pleased that she remembers this as she brought it up last week.

Viewers were left fuming earlier this year when Geoff locked Yasmeen in a magic box as punishment for embarrassing him at a function. He locked her in the box and then left her as he went to the pub. Viewers were delighted when Tim Metcalfe turned up at the house after hearing the loud music, and he let her out. Geoff was able to talk his way out of the situation, which meant that Tim didn’t question him. However, this could be one of the things that is brought up when Geoff’s past is uncovered.
ITV ‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Neighbours Witnessing Yasmeen Upset
There have been numerous neighbours that have been around and caught a glimpse of what Geoff is like behind closed doors.  Gail was the first to notice that something wasn’t right as she told Alya that she saw her grandmother crying. In April, Sally saw Geoff burning something in the card before then seeing Yasmeen cry over what he has burnt. Eileen then saw Geoff lock Yasmeen in the house on the night of the stabbing. All of these factors could be brought up as the storyline continues.
