‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers September 5th reunites Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Vivian Alamain (Robin Strasser), leaves Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) with a serious concern, and finds Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) trying to protect the family honor. We also have another reunion and some uncomfortable moments between Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). If you missed it, let’s get to the ‘Days of Our Lives'(DOOL) Spoilers. Kate and Gabi have a chance to talk while Stefan is traveling to see his mother. Kate wants to know where he is, and lectures Gabi about the chain of command and the need for order. Gabi, now in love with and loyal to Stefan, keeps quiet on his whereabouts as asked.
Kate decides this is a good time to not only clear the air, but to finalize the revenge they’d spoken of. She goes on about being grateful to Gabi for saving her life when Stefan was about to shoot her and says that good things are in store for Gabi—if she’s loyal. Gabi admits to being in love with Stefan and not being interested in destroying him anymore, which Kate can’t believe. Gabi explains it wasn’t part of the plan, but it happened. Kate doesn’t push, but does remind Gabi she’s a great mentor. When she leaves, Gabi says Kate’s in for a surprise.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Vivian goes over Stefan’s head
Stefan and Vivian are excited to be reunited today, and the writers get a little fun with both actors being recasts in by having them mention each other looking different. Stefan then fills Vivian in on what’s been going on lately, including his marriage to Gabi-with-an-i. Vivian is devastated and has to take a few swigs of her flask, but Stefan assures her that Gabi is on his side. More drinking ensues when she learns that Kate is now CEO and living in the mansion. Robin is killing it with the humor, by the way.
Vivian wants revenge yesterday, but Stefan advises her to think about this carefully. He thinks that by taking their time, they’ll get a much better revenge than killing her. Vivian reluctantly agrees to his pleas for patience and his request that she stay put for now. To calm her nerves about some goon tracking her after Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) rescue, he gives her back her gun. Stefan might just regret that move.
Victor is also entertaining today as he goes through the list of family love fails, including Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) not being able to tell, “one murderous slut from another.” He’s running out of patience with this mess, but with Brady now away from Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), plus Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) together again, there is one situation left he can do something about. That would be Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) relationship with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). He wants Brady to help get him out of Ciara’s life, as Ciara is the hope for the family. In the end, Victor decides to hire Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) for the job. We see
Xander attack Ben from behind and choke him out.
Speaking of Xander, he was talking to Sarah earlier about the Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) situation and his feelings for her. Xander’s declaration leads to Sarah bending over a trash can as she empties her breakfast. He is slightly miffed that the idea makes her that sick, but Sarah says it has nothing to do with that. She thinks it’s about the nerves she’s experiencing as she waits for word from Eric.
Later, Sarah decides to cancel her appointments for the day as a precaution. She doesn’t want to potentially pass along whatever stomach thing she could have. As she’s going over her calendar to decide what patients need to see a different doctor that day, she starts counting something off on her fingers. She apparently doesn’t like what she realizes, as she wonders aloud if Xander was right about her being pregnant. Back in Salem, it seems that Vivian has defied Stefan’s request and made her way back to town. She approaches Kate in the streets and threatens her with the gun Stefan gave her.
Meanwhile, Eric is still trying to figure out how he’s going to locate Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and her daughter, given the goon is dead. He uses the guy’s phone to text another goon on the mystery boss’ payroll, pretending to be Walter (Josh Wingate). He eventually gets an address out of the other goon (Robert) and rushes to Nicole’s aid.
When he gets there, though, he learns it was a trap. The guy saw what went down in Chicago and played along. He tells Eric that he’ll never see Nicole or the kid again. Eric ends up struggling with the man and knocks him out before yelling out for Nicole. She emerges from another room and they immediately rush into each other’s arms. Um… we hope they pay attention, because there is a guy lying there who could come around at any moment. Haven’t they ever seen a horror movie?
