‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers show that the case filed by Ingo Rademacher (Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks) against ABC has been dropped, and the network has emerged triumphant.
Rademacher sued the network over his dismissal and his fight against being compelled to take the COVID-19 vaccination, as well as whether he should have been excused owing to religious convictions.
The actor filed the complaint in December of 2021, but Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephen Goorvitch decided in favor of ABC.
Rademacher was ruled to have health-related objections rather than religious ones, which did not qualify him for a vaccination exemption. Disney, which controls ABC, has ordered that everyone working on the show get vaccinated or face termination.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: ABC BEATS Ingo Rademacher (Jasper “Jax” Jacks) In COVID Firing Lawsuit
Rademacher fought back against what he saw as unlawful firing, but it did not appear to go his way. According to ABC’s counsel, Rademacher’s testimony was not about his religious views, but rather about his refusal to modify his immune system.
Despite Rademacher’s defense of his claims with Revelations of Ramala, the network remained doubtful because he acknowledged he hadn’t studied it in three decades.
Of course, many people have speculated on what will happen to Jax and if the character would be killed off or recast in order to finally end it. The future will indicate if the show is content to keep Jax in Australia off-screen and rarely mentioned for the time being.
That may change depending on what happens in Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) risky GH subplot, since they will seek an explanation for her father’s absence. Given the bad feeling generated by the firing of Ingo Rademacher and this litigation, any future Jax appearances would almost certainly be done by a different actor.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Josslyn will have the support of the rest of her family should Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) encounter mayhem, so keep an eye out for any gloomy developments. What do you think? Should Rademacher have been fired? Let us know in the comments below.
