‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers show that it would be strange if the program ignores the hints of paralysis in Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) narrative.
The fact that Curtis’ spinal injury worries the physicians suggests that there is a serious explanation for it. When Curtis awakens, his medical team will know more about how Curtis’ injuries will impact his mobility going forward.
Although the physicians express hope that Curtis’ partial paralysis would only last temporarily, it appears likely that he will endure some degree of it. Curtis might be able to gradually restore some movement with physical treatment and focused effort over time.
Curtis will definitely be surprised when he wakes up and discovers that he is unable to move as well as he once could. He may have sentiments of resentment as he adjusts to the adjustments in this new environment.
Portia will make an attempt to console someone, but Curtis might not be open to it. When Curtis sees Portia’s amazement at his response, he will ask for some privacy.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: SHOCKING Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) Divorces His Wife?
It’s easy to picture Curtis yelling at Portia and worrying that her concern is motivated by sympathy. Fans will remember Portia’s angst at Curtis’ secretive behavior around his kiss with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Because of Curtis’s near-death experience, Portia was able to let go of her resentment. She may now reassure Curtis that she is just happy he is alive and that they have another opportunity.
Curtis, however, would have a substantial life change as a result of the probable paralysis, leading him to conclude that continuing to be together would be detrimental to Portia. He could afterwards shock her by proposing a divorce.
Despite this, Portia still cares deeply about Curtis and wants to help him get through this trying period. However, Curtis could end his friendship with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) as well as his romance with Portia.
As she tries to connect with Curtis, we believe that Portia will confide in Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), who may just need some time and patience to understand everything.
