Unbox Theory has unboxed a lot of things in the past but this one could be the biggest yet. The Xbox Series X and S release date and price were officially announced recently.
Now Unbox Theory’s newest video called ‘Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S Model Unboxing’ gave us a good look at what both consoles will look like.
The console didn’t actually work and seemed to be the case before the technically is added. It was official as he was sent to him by Microsoft themselves.
Through the video he looks at the console size and it looks like you are able to actually place it on its side depending on your setup. This will make it easier to display but it’s the size of the Xbox series X that’s still a problem.
Then we go to the Xbox Series S
We only got confirmed in the last week. It’s a lot smaller than the Xbox Series X but still looks pretty blockey. The console doesn’t have a disk drive and looks a lot better than the X.
Unbox Theory compared it to the PS4’s size and turns out it’s actually smaller. It does look like this console does focus on the Xbox Game Pass and at the price of $299.
It’s a great price for the next generation of consoles. Looking at the console price and size difference and knowing that the Game Pass is probably the biggest reason to buy an Xbox. The Xbox Series S could be a must buy.
The looks could affect sells massively but its not the only issue
Both consoles do have a big issue, they look very simple and not very eye-catching. The white and black S looks a lot better. The size will make it easy to fit in your TV cabinet.
The Xbox Seres X though is just a massive brick that will be near impossible to fit in your TV cabinet unless you go out your way to get something for it. This is a small thing for many buyers but it’s definitely something to think about.
